LABEL-VOR-DEN-VORHANG:
Wir sind Denise und Maicol, wir machen Kleidung und nennen dieses Projekt PLASTICA. Das bedeutet expressive und kreative Kraft und repräsentiert tragbare Streetwear mit einem Touch Glamour. Wir spielen mit konträren Stilen, komponieren mit kräftigen Farben, verbinden sportliche, moderne und klassische Stoffe. Uns inspiriert das verspielt Infantile, romantische Nostalgie, sportliche Funktionalität sowie die Eleganz des klassischen Designs.
Wir produzieren Einzelstücke und Kleinstserien in häuslichen Werkstätten. Jedes Stück wird sorgfältig von Hand genäht und bedruckt. Die Stoffe sind Reststücke, die wir wie ungeahnte Schätze auf den Märkten Bogotás entdecken und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ins passende Kleidungsstück verwirklichen.
Plastica entstand im Jahr 2003 in Bogotá als Abschlussprojekt von Maicol Herrera im Rahmen seiner Ausbildung zum Modedesigner. So entwickelte sich die Idee als Gegenentwurf zur Mainstream-Mode in der jungen Modeszene Bogotás. Für kurze Zeit an unkonventionellen Orten zu verkaufen, war schon immer das Verkaufskonzept von Plastica, obwohl die Idee des pop-up Stores in Bogotá so noch nicht bekannt war.
Seit 2008 ist auch Denise Herrera Teil des Projektes Plastica.
Als Produkt einer Liebe entstand eine große Kollektion, die mit uns beiden nach Österreich reiste.

Es passiert was im YPPIG. Wenn der November kommt, kommt MEIN HANSI ins YPPIG und bringt Leben in die Bude! MEIN HANSI ist Luise aus Berlin/Dresden. Sie betreibt seit einigen Jahren ein Upcycling-Modelabel und wird während 2 Wochen live im YPPIG als DESIGNERIN IN RESIDENCE die Nähmaschinen anwerfen.
Wer dabei sein will, soll Rohware aus dem eigenen Kleiderschrank zur Weiterverarbeitung mitbringen.
An 4 Tagen bietet Luise einen DRIVE-IN-AFTER-WORK-WORKSHOP . Am 3., 8., 9., 10.11. Eure alten Strickpuulis ankarren und unter Anleitung Hauben draus kreieren.

MEIN HANSI recycling fashion aus BERLIN nistet sich 2 Wochen lang im YPPIG ein, macht afterwork-workshops (man kann einfach reinschneien ins YPPIG, weil MEIN HANSI vor Ort näht und lebt und heizt) und ganz konkret auch einen “COOLE MÜTZEN AUS ALTEN PULLIS” workshop am 3.11. von 18.00 – 20.00 ! Mitzubringen sind DEINE alten Strickpullis.

“Mein Hansi” is a fashion label, founded in 2006 in Schneeberg/Germany. I was bored of that little town I was studying in and I was angry, when I found out how harmful fashion industry is to our planet, the animals and us.
Since august 2010 i am a member of the “aluc”-team and “Mein Hansi” turned into a diffusion line of aluc. That means i moved to Berlin and more people are involved. Nobody knows what’s gonna happen.More people means more ideas- means more crazy ways of recycling… hopefully more sizes and more and more pieces.
What i do is recycling pre- and post-consumer waste… that is end of roll-fabric, production cut-offs and 2.hand clothing and fabric. Mein Hansi clothes are crazy pieces with a unique character. Everything you get is a single one-off-piece!
Our work against an industry that is wasting resources and destroying people, animals and the environment!

Shakkei is a Japanese expression. It may be translated as the act of making use of the surrounding landscape in the design of a garden or landscape as background for a garden. It is very subtly, aesthetic, and is dominated by timeless beauty.
As a fashion label Shakkei is interpreting this concept by using certified or organic materials and sustainable production. Shakkei provides a mens and womens collection with delicated fabrics and high production standards. Our collections are made in Austria and Germany.
